This is a single story mixed use building with approximately 4000 square feet building footprint. The SCG scope of work included structural design for Gravity and Wind / Seismic loading. The gravity system consist of metal roof with steel bar joists supported on light gage metal stud wall at periphery and steel beams & columns at one interior line. The lateral load resisting system comprised of metal X bracing system. The building also featured a 6 ft tall parapet all around framed with light gage studs supported on kickers behind.
